Jorge Martín heeft de Grand Prix van Duitsland in de MotoGP gewonnen, zijn eerste triomf sinds augustus 2021. Hij versloeg kampioenschapsleider Francesco Bagnaia uit Italië en de Fransman Johann Zarco. Martín volgde zijn overwinning uit de sprint van zaterdag, waarin Bagnaia tweede werd, vandaag op met hetzelfde resultaat. De vijfentwintigjarige Martín won vandaag met 64 duizendsten, terwijl Zarco zeven seconden achter hem zat.
